VIEW Award 2020

VIEW Awards 2020 open for submission!

The VIEW 2020 Conference is a long way out on the horizon right now. The conference is set for an opening for October 18-23 this year. That is exciting! But another exciting part of this sweet approach is the opportunity to promote the film competitions that are part of the festival which is VIEW!

view2020The VIEW Award 2020 contest is now open for creatives to submit their short animated films for its €2,000 first prize. There is also the ItalianMix award for short live-action Italian films, a chance for local producers to be a part of this amazing creative window to the world. There’s a Wacom tablet up for grabs there.  Most certainly, the VIEW Conference has become a mainstay of the visual media landscape in Europe, for its mix of high-end but accessible and casual exploration of this entertaining discipline.

Entries for the VIEW Award 2020 must be 2D or 3D animated films of 30 minutes or less created after January 1, 2019. An international jury is drawn from the VIEW Conference speaker roster which by all accounts, is pretty amazing.  Imagine a jury peppered with Hollywood directors, VFX Supervisors and artists at the top of their game.

The VIEW Conference is Italy’s premiere event for Computer Graphics, Visual Effects, Games, Interactive and Immersive Storytelling, Animation, VR, AR, and Mixed Reality. The event brings top professionals from those fields to the beautiful baroque city of Torino, Italy for a few great days of talks, presentations, and workshops.
